Black Rodeo USA is excited to be selected by National Western Stock Show – one of the most elite rodeos in the world – as the new production partner for its annual MLK Jr African-American Heritage Rodeo. For 16 days of jam-packed action – from January 10-25, 2026 – Black Rodeo USA will bring its “hottest show on dirt” experience to the Centennial State.
Black Rodeo USA will embark on our fifth year of touring to culminate with a milestone celebration at our 15th annual flagship rodeo in the Western landscapes of Arizona. Saddle up and take a ride with us to the first stop of our 2026 season!

WHAT TO EXPECT:
- Top athletes from across the country, with multiple generations of cowboys and cowgirls competing.
- Traditional events like bull riding, steer wrestling, barrel racing and tie-down roping, as well as unique events such as ladies’ steer undecorating and mutton bustin’ for youth.
- Educational segments about the significant roles African Americans have played in the development of the West.
- Honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy through recognition of community leaders
