Las Vegas Black Rodeo Kidz Rodeo Experience

Enjoy the magic of rodeo in an inclusive and welcoming environment designed for families, children, youth and older adults alike!

Las Vegas Black Rodeo will once again host the annual Las Vageas Black Rodeo Kidz Rodeo. Many of today’s youth are not involved in agriculture, never attended a rodeo or even seen a horse in person. Youth have the opportunity to get a glimpse of rodeo life and to develop an appreciation for the sport. The event is aimed to inspire and to educate youth on the tradition of rodeo, agriculture and the impact of western heritage and lifestyle; as well as to encourage making positive choices.

Students will: learn about rodeo events, like ladies barrel racing, tie down roping, steer wrestling; animal safety; see horses; ask questions of contestants and crew; see horsemanship in action. Most importantly, they get to experience the magic of rodeo. And, who knows? We may spark the heart of future competitors!

The event has 2 components:

• 9-10am: SHINING SPURS SESSION - This portion of the Kidz Rodeo provides an accessible and sensory-considerate space designed for children/youth, families and older adults, as well as anyone preferring a calmer rodeo experience. 
  • 8:30-8:50am: Arrive and get settled
  • 8:50am: Welcome
  • 9:00am: Session
  • 10:00am: Departure begins

• 10:30am-12:15pm: RODEO ROUNDUP - This will feature an abbreviated rodeo with a showcase of timed events – calf roping, steer wrestling, ladies barrels, ladies steer undecorating and junior barrels – as well as an interactive experience.
  • 10-10:20am: Arrive and get seated (or choose to arrive during the 1st segment)
  • 10:20am: Welcome
  • 10:30am: Events
  • 11:45am: Interactive segment, Q&A
  • 12:15pm: Departure begins

When you purchase tickets to a Black Rodeo USA show, you are supporting the work of Black Rodeo USA Foundation to empower youth and the community at large through experiential and educational opportunities. A portion of ticket sales benefits the programs and initiatives of Black Rodeo USA Foundation.

• Times: 9am (Shining Spurs Session) & 10am (Rodeo Roundup); gates open at 8am
• Location: Horseman's Park Equestrian Center, 5800 East Flamingo Road, Las Vegas 89122 
• Run time: 1 hour and 1 hr 45 min
• Tickets (with fees): $15.85 (Rodeo Roundup only); Shining Spurs Session no charge, just RSVP. All seating general admission. ***NO REFUNDS*** Children 4 and older required to have a ticket. Children 3 and under free with a paying adult; must be seated in adult's lap and not occupying a seat. ***NO REFUNDS***

TICKET SELLERS / THIRD-PARTY TICKETS

Any tickets purchased by/from ticket resellers WILL NOT BE HONORED at the venue. If you are a ticket reseller and have by chance set up event pages and sold tickets, you must contact Black Rodeo USA to provide the names of the actual buyer(s)/attendee(s) in enough time prior to the event. You, as the ticket reseller, as well as the actual ticket purchaser WILL NOT receive a ticket; the actual attendee must provide the ticket purchaser's name AND our ticket number at Will Call, and also may be required to present ID in order to receive a band for entrance. NOTE: Requirements subject to change.

Black Rodeo USA reserves the right to revoke tickets sold to unauthorized third parties. A customer who has purchased a revoked ticket will not be admitted into the venue.
